Abstract

Computer vision is a solution to increase speed and accuracy in defect detection. The application of computer vision can only be highly effective with an optimally designed optical system that provides the computer vision system with data-optimised input images by displaying clearly on the photo the fault or defect on the product. To analysing the importance of high-quality input images, this paper provides optical solutions to the problem of computer vision error checking on the vaccine vial packaging line and single-use scalpel. At the same time, the authors will evaluate the critical needs of using a customised optical system for quality inspection on an assembly line.
