The regression results show that 8 factors related to competitive innovation of SOEs in the context of applying a neutral competition policy have a positive impact on the performance of these enterprises’ production and business activities, namely: (i) Research and selection of target market; (ii) Pricing strategy; (iii) Product strategy; (iv) Accompanied service strategy; (v) Distribution strategy; (vi) Promotion strategy; (vii) Communication strategy; (viii) Complementary factors. From there, the study proposes some recommendations for improving the performance of the production and business activities of Vietnamese SOEs in the context of applying a neutral competition policy.
