Employee’s assessment on Tet bonus at enterprises in Vietnam

Abstract

This article studies Tet bonuses of employees at enterprises in Vietnam based on data obtained from 175 employees working at 120 enterprises in the field of commerce and services. The data is analyzed and processed on SPSS 26. The analysis results show that Tet bonuses in cash are mainly chosen by employees and businesses. Therefore, employees have more positive evaluations when comparing their Tet bonuses with other businesses and other sectors. However, Tet bonus is not much associated with the working efficiency, the level of contribution and dedication of the individual
employees with the performance of the enterprise. At the same time, based on the results of the overview on bonuses, the article has proposed 4 scales to evaluate Tet bonuses of employees in enterprises. Based on those results, the author of the article has proposed the administration implications for enterprises when Tet bonuses for employees in enterprises.
