Applying the humanity of President Ho Chi Minh’s military discipline to managing the ideology of discipline in the military today

Abstract

The article focuses on clarifying the humanity of President Ho Chi Minh’s military discipline. This is an idea with profound theoretical and practical value, practically contributing to fostering each soldier’s revolutionary nature and noble qualities and personalities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”. The discipline of the Vietnamese People's Army is a principle and regulation in the national legal document system, which is concretised into regulations, regulations, and regulatory systems, ensuring the direction and unity of all military activities. The characteristics of military discipline include: self-discipline, strict, based on orders, charters, and regulations. At the same time, it promotes the role and the value of people, all for people, taking education, persuasion, and perfecting human personality as the center. Based on a general assessment of the current situation, the authors propose a number of main measures to continue promoting humanity in strengthening army discipline to meet the requirements of the task of building and protecting the fatherland in the current situation.
