The management on sea and islands of the Vietnamese monarchy state

Abstract

The sea and sea culture platform are the living and nurturing environments of “sea cultures” and residential communities from the early days of the nation formation. In the Middle Age, the geographical location, interaction process, economic needs, political pressure, cultural traditions, and etc created the behaviour at the sea space of the Vietnamese monarchy. This article aims at exploring the mindset, organization and management on sea and islands of the Vietnamese monarchy state.
