Abstract

Digital technologies - most notably cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things-have increasingly permeated all areas of social, economic, political, and organisational life. In this context, Big data has emerged as a key technological pillar, providing a foundational infrastructure for data-driven analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Research on and the implementation of Big data solutions are not only an inevitable global trend but have also become an important driver of organisational competitiveness and long-term sustainable development. Based on a synthesis of the existing literature and an analysis of relevant studies, this paper explores the perceptions and evaluations of HR professionals regarding the use of Big data in evidence-based human resource decision-making. The findings contribute to a better understanding of how Big data is perceived in contemporary HR practices and offer insights that may support the optimisation of human resource management activities. In addition, the study proposes several considerations for organisations when implementing Big data applications in the Vietnamese context.data solutions are not only an inevitable global trend but have also become an important driver of organisational competitiveness and long-term sustainable development.
