Abstract

The Do Son - Hai Phong coastal area is the region that receives river water of the Red River - Thai Binh system including the Red River, Thai Binh and Tra Ly, Ninh Co and Van Uc, Lach Tray, Cam, Bach Dang rivers, etc. Therefore, the turbidity transmission in Do Son coastal area and the surroundings depends on the flow regime, the sediment transportation from the rivers to the sea, and the tidal regime from the sea to the rivers. This article presents some results of the turbidity simulation in Do Son - Hai Phong by seasons (rainy season, dry season) with the Delft 3D model.
