Abstract

This study examines the impact of entrepreneurial resilience (ER) on entrepreneurial intention (EI) and effective entrepreneurial behaviour (EEB) among women entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City. Data were collected from 440 women who were operating businesses and analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that entrepreneurial resilience positively affects both entrepreneurial intention and effective entrepreneurial behaviour. In addition, entrepreneurial intention has a positive impact on effective entrepreneurial behaviour. These results highlight the important role of entrepreneurial resilience in helping women maintain motivation, adapt to challenges, and transform entrepreneurial intentions into actual entrepreneurial actions. The study contributes to entrepreneurship literature by extending the explanation of the intentionbehavior relationship from the perspective of psychological resilience. Furthermore, several managerial implications are proposed to support and promote women’s entrepreneurial activities in a highly dynamic business environment.
