Digital transformation is becoming a crucial driver for innovating operational models in the postal logistics sector. The robust growth of e-commerce, the digital economy, and the increasing demands for speed and service quality have created an urgent need for logistics enterprises to apply digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, cloud computing, and automation. In Vietnam, the digital transformation in the postal logistics industry has achieved some results; however, there are still many limitations in technological infrastructure, data connectivity, human resources, and the level of technology adoption among enterprises. Based on the synthesis and analysis of domestic and international specialised studies and reports, this research evaluates the current status of applying digital transformation technology in the postal logistics sector in Vietnam. Simultaneously, it proposes development orientations and solutions according to the roadmap to 2030 and the vision to 2045. Digital transformation not only improves operational efficiency and reduces logistics costs but also lays the foundation for building a smart postal logistics ecosystem that meets the development requirements of the digital economy.
