Theoretical basis and method of environmental conflict assessment

Abstract

The article presents the theoretical basis and method of environmental conflict assessment to provide the scientific foundation applying to reality, there by learn the experience to improve the theory for solving efficiently the environmental conflicts arising in socioeconomic development activities. As a result, the environmental conflict is identified as a social conflict related to management, exploitation, and use of natural resources and impact on the natural environment. The environmental conflict assessment is a process of analysis including: identification, determining cause and social consequence, transformation anticipation and proposing environmental conflict solving measures.
