Abstract

The paper provides the research results of in-situ synthesis of PANi/MWCNTs/MnO2 nanocomposites on platinum microelectrodes by the electrochemical polymerization method. The polyaniline nanocomposite samples were tested by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy for identifying the composition of modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes and manganese dioxide (MWCNTs/ MnO2 ) available on the surface of polyaniline composites. This work shows the potential use of PANi/MWCNTs/ MnO2 nanocomposites is very suitable for applications in biosensors.
