Evaluation of effectiveness of exercises therapy combined with physiotherapy in treatment for patients with simple periarthritis of the shoulder

Periarthritis of the shoulder is a common disease in clinical rehabilitation. It greatly affects the working and living capacity of the patients. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of exercises therapy combined with physiotherapy in the treatment of patients with simple periarthritis of the shoulder. Subjects and methods: Randomized controlled trial. Patients were divided into two groups: the control group consisting of 32 patients treated with physiotherapy (paraffin and pulse), the study group consisting of 32 patients treated with physiotherapy (paraffin and pulse) and exercises therapy. Results and conclusions: After 30 days of treatment, the study group achieved better results than the control (p <0.01). The control group had 2 patients with very good results (6.2%), 4 patients with good results (12.5%). The study group included 4 patients with very good results (12.5%), 16 patients with good results (50%).
