Abstract

The field experiment was a split-plot design, the main factor consisted of three sowing methods (G1: Sow, G2: Sowing two rows on each ridge, G3: Transplanting two rows on each ridge) and the sub-factor consisted of three planting densities (M1: 16 plants/m2, M2: 25 plants/m2 and M3: 30 plants/m2). Area of   research models was 300 m2. It was shown that different sowing methods and planting densities affected the vegetative growth and productivity of Quinoa. Transplanting two rows on each ridge - planting density of 25 plants/m2 appeared to be most suitable in terms of growth and productivity.
