Designing and developing the IT system for mine action operations

Abstract

Applications of embedded systems in science and technology have been becoming the most attractive field in the Vietnamese scientific community. In this paper, the authors present the study and implemention of an embedded computer for mine action operations (MAO). The evaluation and test of the system have been conducted on the mine clearance vehicle Vallon EL 1303D2 in the mine testing center. The results have shown the ability of embedded technology in the mine action operations, and this is a basis to design a pollution mine map in Vietnam.
