Objective: to study some risks of pregnant women with placenta previa. Results: the incidences in women with history of abortion, miscarriage and history of uterine inflammation accounted for 8.9%, OR = 7.7 (CI = 1.4-41.2) and 1.8%, OR = 2.7 (CI = 0.1-45.2). The number of giving birth ≥ 4 made up 10.7% incidence of OR = 9.1 (CI = 1.7-46.6), p < 0.05. The incidence rate of multiple pregnancy, uterin malformation, history of birth control and placenta previa was 3.6%, 3.6%, 5.4% and 7.1% respectively. Women with history of uterine scar made up 33.9% of incidences, OR = 2.3 (CI = 1.2-4.7). History of intrauterine device took 37.5% of incidences, OR = 1.3 (CI = 0.7-2.5). The group of placenta previa with blood transfusion accounted for 19.6%, OR = 18.5 (CI = 3.9-86.9), and coagulation disorders cocupied 1.8%. Fetal distress made up 14.3%. Cesarean section in the case group was 94.6% (35.7% in the control group), OR = 31.8 (CI = 1.5-15.9).
