Abstract

The paper presents some results of the Nafosted’s project coded 105.08-2013.18. Based on the review of several methods to identify heavy metals in road dust, the authors have evaluated and selected the rapid method to measure heavy metals using portable X-ray Fluorescent (XRF) device for the purpose of research in Vietnam. They have also provided some preliminary outcome in applying this method for road dust samples collected from several locations in Vietnam.
