Abstract

The paper presents the development of a method to evaluate the effect of hot water production system using solar collector combined with heat pump (at Green World hotel, Nha Trang) based on the operation data of the system. On the basis of analysing the system operation, the parameters to be measured in the system have been determined, and a measuring and data collecting system has been built. Through the collected data, the indicators characterising the efficiency of the system such as energy consumption, energy distribution, energy saving capabitity, CO2 emissions reduction, and so on of the system have been determined. These results provide a basis to develop and optimise other similar hot water production systems in the futute.
