Innovation of Nguyen Minh Chau in the flow of contemporary literature

Abstract

Nguyen Minh Chau is a special case of Vietnamese literature in the second half of the twentieth century as a pioneer in the transitional period. As one of the successful writers of the anti-American generation, he soon realised the need to change perspective, perceptions, and writing styles, which are strongly expressed in all of his works and essays. The paper looked back on Nguyen Minh Chau's innovations and their significance in the flow of contemporary Vietnamese literature. The movements in the creative journey of Nguyen Minh Chau not only contributed to pave the way for innovation process but also reflected the movement of literature on the innovation journey.
