INVESTIGATING THE IMPACT OF SOME ELEMENTS ON THE PANAX VIETNAMENSIS’S BIOMASS QUALITY BASED ON 100-LITER BIOREACTOR

Abstract

In this study, the authors have upgraded the Panax vietnamensis (Vietnamese ginseng) biomass production scale upto 100-liter bioreactor. The medium compositions which have been optimized include MS liquid medium supplemented with 1.5 mg/ml NAA, kinetin 0.1 mg/l, saccharose 30.0 g/l, pH of 5.8, temperature about 24-26^oC, rotational speed at 45 rpm, oxygen content 40%, culture time about 24-25 days. The results have shown that culture yield has reached 459.21±48.54 g/l, and total saponin content has been 24.87±3.02 mg/g.
