Abstract

This article introduces a hydraulic system creating a vertical load of testing equipment for bridge bearings with a capacity of 6,400 tons that was designed and made in Vietnam. Based on the theory of dynamics problems of a hydraulic transmission system creating vertical load with regard to the effect of friction, the authors successfully generated mathematical models that simulated the process of testing bearings and comparing the simulation results with the actual experimental results on certain bridge bearings.
