Abstract

Avocado (Persea americana Mills), a perennially valuable fruit, is considered a traditional crop, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam that has been gradually developed in some northern provinces such as Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Son La, Bac Giang, etc. It is, therefore, necessary to have avocado cultivars carefully screened to be suitably cultivated in the condition of the North of Vietnam. In the 2012 to 2016 period, 5 introduced cultivars of avocado coded TA1, TA5, TA44, TA54, and Booth7 had been evaluated in some areas of Vietnam by the Institute of Regional Research and Development and from which their adaptability in non-bearing duration was already recorded.
