Improving Cobamid 7.5RB bait to raise its durability in natural conditions

Abstract

Cobamid 7.5RB bait, a product for cockroach control produced by the Institute of Ecology and Works Protection, was researched to raise its durabililty when exposured in natural condition. Some of ingredients in the bait matrix were modified and added (denaturalized starch, honey, adjuvant…) to create a new formula of bait with more advantages. The results showed that the new bait could maintain the effectiveness on cockroach control and its durability for 6 months in natural conditions (while Cobamid 7.5RB could be effective for only 8-10 days).
