Exercising the right to social protection in terms of admission, reservation, and tuition exemption or reduction for the people through professional social work activities

Abstract

Based on considering the investment in education as the focus of development, the Party and Government mobilise the participation of social actors, including social workers to help people to exercise the right to social protection in terms of education. The Party's and Government's point of view, guidelines, and actions are in line with the aspirations of the people when up to 40% of them need to receive assistance from social workers. The participation of social workers has a positive meaning in connecting people with policies and bringing policies to life because up to 80% of people who receive assistance have enjoyed the right of social protection on admission, reservation, and tuition reduction or exemption.
