The spiritual ecocriticism approached from the Southern contemporary stories

Abstract

Ecocriticism was known since 1970s of the twentieth century. In the global environmental crisis perspective, ecocriticism plays a important role because it is a form of interdisciplinary study, where spiritual ecocriticism not only bases on the ecocentric ideology but also considers the spiritual and social life as the scene of the creative literary process, improving the aesthetic. The paper approaches the Southern contemporary short stories from correlation with inner mind and analyses the relation between spiritual and external factors in term of ecologic paradigm.
