Abstract

Thorough the survey with 385 households in traditional tea villages in Thai Nguyen province, the author conducted the analysis of factors affecting the income from tea production and processing of tea households in traditional tea villages. The results of the research showed the cost of material, cost of labor, level of education and experience in tea production of these households, characteristics of households, market, organization model of cooperation, and zone of tea production were the factors that affected the income of tea households in traditional tea villages in Thai Nguyen province. Based on the results of the research, the article would like to propose several solutions to improve the income for traditional tea households in tea villages in the coming time.
